Over the next two years, the Charge Place Scotland (CPS) network will shift away from the current private model to one with a stronger emphasis on commercial investment in public electric vehicle (EV) charging. As a result, all owners will need to transition away from CPS and onto a new back-office provider. Charge point owners should begin planning for this change, as the deadline for moving off CPS is December 2025.
Energy Saving Trust will be hosting three webinars this year to provide support to owners on how best to move forward with their transition away from CPS and step by step support to answer any questions owners may have.
This first session will take place on Microsoft Teams, on Thursday 26 June 2025 at 10:00am. We will provide an update on where CPS is now, and a run through of everything owners need to know and do when it comes to transitioning.
Last year, we ran three webinars which provided an in-depth guide on how owners can transition away from the public network and onto a private network. These were published alongside our fully comprehensive back to basics guidance pack.
Agenda:
- An overview of where CPS is now and what will happen moving forward.
- A run-through on what owners need to know and what they need to do next.
- Q+A Session.
Please note: You do not need to have seen any prior webinars before attending this session. Recordings of these can be found here:
